Every year in May, the men at ManAlive, go into the woods near Whiskeytown Lake, in Redding for an epic weekend. We call this weekend, Man-i-fest. Simply put, it changes you. The Odell’s barbecue alone, our annual Saturday night meal (a pound of meat per person), ushers the worst sinners into the throne room of God and makes angels cry. The games will bond you, push you and make you laugh til your gut hurts. The friendships you build here come from a shared experience, time spent in nature, around a fire and in deep conversation. The testimonies from these weekends usually sound like this, “I’d been going to group for a while, but it wasn’t until Manifest when…” and profound change was instigated.
Man-i-fest is open to men around the world who are in a ManAlive small group or who are an alumni of one. If that’s you, the cost is $135 and you can get the link to register and pay by going to our Contact page and requesting it. There is limited space, so wait at your own risk.
Here’s a sneak peek into some Man-i-fest goodness:
Speakers: Steve Brown, Nick Harper, Aaron Zint, Rodger Gaskin, Mark Peterson, Taylor Horn
Massive relay, US vs the World Soccer Game, bonfires, mechanical bull, OK corral, tournaments
A good cry
You’ve probably heard us say, getting into a small group is a smart decision. Well, going to Man-i-fest is a smart decision. At the end of the month, year, your life, you only regret the risks you didn’t take and the things you didn’t do.
It’s going to be legendary. Don’t miss it.
