One of my favorite movies is Nacho Libre. The kids do Nacho imitations all the time and we get a great laugh. Like “sometimes Chancho, a man wears stretchy pants.” We can relate to Nacho’s dilemma because somewhere down deep we know that we are a wrestler but we are living a life in conflict with that. In Nacho’s case he was a priest living an aesthetic, and celibate life style when he really wanted the girl and a fancy pair of boots. He didn’t know what to do so he lived a double life and when he was found out his peers said “he is not a man of God.” However when he went after who he really was with the support of his friends he got the best of both worlds.
Like wise when we go after who we really are within the context of relationships it will be reflected in our purity. To long we have been a wrestler cloaked in the robe of a priest. So if you are a wrestler…? Do it with everything in you and you will define manhood to next generation with a Nacho quote “sometimes Chanco, a man wears stretchy pants.
